I'd like to vote on this one, but I can't find the original Rancid song. On what album is it? I've browsed through all albums song list and I don't see it anywhere.

BTW, I won't blame you for not loving Rancid but I personally think it's a good band (with And here comes the wolves beiing the best album)

And yeah the singer voice sounds weird. It's due to alcoohol abuse.

Okay, I finally found it and I must admit the original sucks. I thought it would be ska but it's not at al... As for the singer, I was talking about Tim Armstrong but it's clearly not him who sings here (can't remember his name though)

So yeah, the new version Subb did is WAY better than the original

the other dude's name is Lars, and the rancid version is pretty bad in comparison to subb's version. Wasnt the version of THe MOtions actully released before rancid's version??

The first time we heard Tattoo was on the Show soundtrack released in 1998 on Theologian records. We really like that song, but we decided to do our own version, not because we thought their version sucked, just because we love the song. And yes Rancid is a good band, one of my favorite. Tim is a super nice dude and his solo album kick major ass.

Yeah I like Rancid, but I really don't like Tatoo... wasted potential I think. You, however, took all the potential of it to make a kick ass song

As for Tim' solo album I heard it was reggae and a little funky (anyway, that's what I remember from the guy at the HMV, maybe he said other things too). Is it smooth or pretty rythmed?

It's not Rancid ska like Time bomb, but it's good 'ol ska-reggae sound and vibe. It's perfect for the summer. The music is played by the Aggrolites, another great ska-reggae band.
